monkey Itoys cracked the eoeoanut into two

for Nurse Jane, and Jacko ami Jumpo made
dippers of the shell. Soon they had dipped dry
the spring. Fnele Wigglly picked up Nurse
Jane's thimble off the t<ottom and all was
well. And the eoeoanut eake was Just fine.
And if the egg turner doesn't jump over the
bead of cabbage and make the foot of the stairs

reports. According to Prof. La Uoacli,
there are prospects of more students enter
ing this department before long. Instruc-
tion was discontinued in architecture dur-
ing the S. A. T. C. period, and l'rof. La
Koach says it is almost a case of begin-
ning all over again. The students are
starting out this season with a spirit of
enthusiasm that promises well for the de-
partment. Prof. Fa Hoach says he be-
lieves that Agricultural and Mechanical
lias an architectural faculty second to
none except the larger schools in the East
and North.

COLEMAN, Tex., Oct. 15.—The pecan
crop of Coleman County is the heaviest
ever known here. The early nuts being
brought in are selling at 10 to 15 cents per
pound on account of being gathered too
green. When the frost fulls the nuts will
probably command a better price.

15th District, spent Tuesday in Eagle
Pass, preparing for the work, which will
